Notes & Links

A scientist is experimenting with a growth-ray on insects. While he’s away, his wife gets trapped in the room where the insects are kept. The program has also been dated August 15, 1951. George Martin is a professor with a strange invention that makes insects grow far beyond their normal growth potential. For example he has a wasp the size of a golf ball, a spider the size of an orange and a house fly the size of a tennis ball. Unfortunately Mrs. Martin is not so keen on her husbands giant bug collection. One day Mr. Martin has to travel out of town for the day and tries to persuade his wife to feed the bugs for hum, but she refuses. When Bill, the grocery delivery boy, comes round with the groceries he is greeted by a six-foot “thing”. What can it be? Things soon go from bad to worse.
