As Augustine says in book nineteen, “pride is a perverse imitation of God … that wishes to impose its own dominion in place of God’s rule.”

HEADLINE: Ford is about to break out big EV losses for the first time by Michael Wayland and John Rosevear

• Deutsche Bank analyst Emmanuel Rosner believes Ford could be incurring gross losses of about $9,000 per EV sold. The analyst expects Ford to reveal Thursday Model e operating losses of $6 billion for 2022. That’s after accounting for significant research and development investments — roughly 65% of the company’s total R&D — into the EV unit.
• The green never works.
• It is never profitable.
• It makes temporary billionaires out of well connected people but leaves all the underlings to pick up the pieces.
• It is very successful at killing things.
